Hi! I’m Ivana, a flight attendant from a small village in Croatia, now living in Riga, Latvia. I traded my small-town roots for a pair of wings, chasing a dream job that allows me to do what I love most: explore the world and share those adventures.
Why did I become a flight attendant, and why did I start Traviana? It’s not just about my love for travel. Growing up, my family didn’t have many opportunities to explore the world. I made it my mission to change that—not just for me but for them too.
Being able to afford experiences that bring joy to my parents and seeing their smiles as we discover new places together means everything to me.
A little about me: I studied French at the University of Zagreb and completely fell in love with francophone culture. France, in particular, holds a special place in my heart, and I’m always looking for an excuse to go back. Whether it’s the romantic streets of Paris, the stunning French Riviera, or the charm of Provence, there’s always something new to discover. So, don’t be surprised if you see quite a few posts from France popping up on Traviana!
One unforgettable moment from my early days as a flight attendant still makes me laugh. I was sitting at the airport, patiently waiting for my flight, completely unaware that the gate had changed. Suddenly, I heard my name announced over the speakers. I couldn’t believe it—me being called out in an airport! Panicked, I grabbed my things and sprinted to the new gate, which, of course, was on the other side of the terminal. Thankfully, I made it just in time, but I’ve never forgotten the sheer terror of hearing my name echo through the airport. Now, I triple-check every gate, and I guess you could say my cardio has improved thanks to that day!
My favorite destination so far? Gran Canaria! It has everything: endless sunshine, golden beaches, and the most breathtaking volcanic landscapes. Whether it’s relaxing by the sea or hiking lush trails, it’s an island that feels like a little piece of heaven.
With Traviana, my goal is to inspire others to step out of their comfort zones and create unforgettable memories with their loved ones. For me, travel isn’t just about ticking places off a map, it’s about connecting with people, realizing how every new destination is a blessing, and bringing happiness to those who matter most.

Six years ago, I took the leap into entrepreneurship, launching companies focused on financial education and wealth management. It’s been a rewarding ride—challenging at times, but every step has been worth it to help others achieve their goals.
